RPPt Pagkakadakip kay Quiboloy isang malaking hakbang sa paghahanap ng hustisya— House leaders

Ngayong hawak na ng otoridad si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy matapos ang anim na buwang pagtatago, tiwala ang mga lider ng Kamara de Representantes na uusad ng mabilis ang gulong ng hustisya.

Iginiit nina House Assistant Majority Leaders Paolo Ortega V (La Union), Jil Bongalon (Ako Bicol Partylist), Pammy Zamora (Taguig), Zia Adiong (Lanao del Sur), at Jay Khonghun (Zambales), at 1Rider Partylist Rep. Rodge Gutierrez ang kahalagahan na nasa kamay na ng mga otoridad ang lider ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).

“The capture of Quiboloy, who is facing serious charges that range from sexual abuse, human trafficking, and other offenses in the Philippines and in the US, represents a significant development in the pursuit of justice,” sabi ng mga mambabatas

“For far too long, he has evaded these legal proceedings, but his capture demonstrates that no one can escape the law. Quiboloy must now face these charges directly, and it is essential for the integrity of our justice system that he be held accountable for every accusation leveled against him,” dagdag pahayag nila.

Nitong Linggo sumuko si Quiboloy sa Intelligence Service ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) sa loob ng KOJC compound sa Davao City.

Matapos dumating sa Villamor Air Base mula Davao City, agad inilipat si Quiboloy  sa Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Facility sa Camp Crame.

“The surrender of Quiboloy is a win for the country's legal institutions, particularly under the Marcos administration. It shows that the government is committed to ensuring that justice is served, regardless of the power or influence of the individuals involved,” ayon sa Young Guns. 

“This is a clear message that justice is blind, and that even those who wield considerable authority will not be immune from the consequences of their actions,” saad pa nila.

Kinilala rin ng mga kongresista ang PNP na gumawa ng mga hakbang upang mahuli si Quiboloy gayundin ang kanilang dedikasyon na maipatupad ang batas ng walang alinlangan o pinapaboran.

“Despite obstacles and opposition from within Quiboloy’s organization, the authorities have upheld their duty to the law and the people they serve,” sabi nila.

“This development should inspire confidence in the Filipino public. The arrest proves that the wheels of justice are turning, even when the process involves individuals who are deeply entrenched in religious and political spheres,” dagdag ng mga kinatawan.

RPPt Duterte dapat ding managot sa pagkakanlong sa pugante, tulad ni Quiboloy

Posibleng maharap din sa hukuman ang dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte dahil sa umano’y pagkakanlong sa puganteng si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, na kaniyang spiritual adviser.

Sa ulat, inaresto si Quiboloy sa loob ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound sa Davao City. 

 

“Being the administrator of Pastor Quiboloy’s estate, specifically the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in Davao City, where the evangelist was arrested, makes him liable under the law – at the very least for harboring a fugitive,” ayon kay House Assistant Majority Leader Jil Bongalon. 

 

Paliwanag ni Bongalon ng Ako Bicol party-list, na isa ring abogado,  ang dating pangulo bilang tagapangalaga ng mga pag-aari ni Quiboloy na una na ring inamin sa mismong TV network ni Quiboloy, ang Sonshine Media Network International, noong Marso ng taong ito nang magsimulang umiwas ang pastor sa mga otoridad. 

 

“The former president can – I think - fit in the definition of an accomplice,” saad pa ng mambabatas.

 

Ang dating pangulo na kasapi ng Bar ay dapat ding nalalaman ang batas na umiiral, “Being a lawyer also means being an officer of the court. Simply put, he should not be one who should be instrumental in the violation of the country’s laws.” 

 

“It can even be a basis for a petition for disbarment, more so if it can be proven that he did this deliberately – it means not to serve the ends of justice, which is obviously an infraction of the law,” paliwanag pa nito. “Remember, he – for all intents and purposes – was a former president.” 

Iminungkahi rin ni Bongalon, dapat ding imbestigahan o kasuhan ang anak nitong si Vice President Sara Duterte, at malapit nitong kaibigang si Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa ng obstruction of justice dahil sa pag-divert sa atensyon ng mga pulis sa paghahain ng warrant laban kay Quiboloy.

 

“As far as I’m concerned, the same principle applies to both of them. If the former president – who used to be the chief implementor of the country’s laws – can be charged for helping Quiboloy hide, then so should his daughter and the former PNP chief who is now a senator,” paliwanag pa ni Bongalon.

 

“Let us remember that the VP herself declared that the good pastor has already left the country. And now with Quiboloy’s arrest, what does that make of her? Did she or did she not protect him and obstruct the administration of justice by diverting police’s attention?” Giit pa ni Bongalon.

RPPt DML Acidre sa pagkaka-aresto kay Quiboloy: 'Walang huwad na diyos hindi ligtas sa batas’

Ikinalugod ni House Deputy Majority Leader at Tingog Partylist Rep. Jude Acidre ang pagkakaaresto sa lider ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) church na si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, na wanted sa kasong child abuse at qualified trafficking. 

"These are very serious charges that, if proven, can't go unpunished unless we live in a society devoid of rules and respect. No man is above the law, and no false God is above the law," sabi ni Acidre, chairman ng House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs

"Dahil sa panatisismo, maaring ‘yung mga biktima ay hindi pa alam na inabuso sila, at ‘yan ay nakakalungkot. But the healing will begin soon," punto ni Acidre. 

"Make no mistake, while we are eager to move on from this nightmare, the main goal is to ensure that the soul-less abusers are held accountable and given a taste of justice that they have long avoided," dagdag ng mambabatas Acidre. 

Si Quiboloy ay spiritual adviser ni dating Pangulo at Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

RPPt Papel ni PRRD, VP Sara sa pagtatago ni Quiboloy imbestigahan

Nais ni Manila Rep. Joel Chua na imbestigahan ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno ang naging papel ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte at anak nitong si Vice President Sara Duterte sa tangkang pagtakas sa batas ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, ang lider ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).

Ayon kay Chua ang dating Pangulo ang tumatayo ngayong administrador ng KOJC compound kung saan nahuli si Quiboloy.

“His role within the KOJC compound places him at the center of this unfolding scandal, and the public deserves clear answers about his involvement,” sabi ni Chua.

Sinabi ni Chua na mayroon ding pahayag ni VP Sara na wala na sa KOJC compound sa Davao City si Quiboloy na maaari umanong sinadyang sabihin upang makapanlinlang.

 

“Her assurances that Quiboloy was no longer within the compound call into question her credibility and suggest an attempt to shield the preacher from justice,” ani Chua.

“Such actions, if proven, would not only obstruct the course of justice but also erode public trust in our officials,” saad pa nito.

Iginiit ni Chua na dapat ay nakikipagtulungan ang lahat para mahuli ang mga wanted sa batas. Si Quiboloy ay nahaharap sa kasong child abuse, sexual abuse, at qualified trafficking bukod pa sa mga kasong kinakaharap nito sa Estados Unidos.

“The father-and-daughter duo’s direct connection to the KOJC compound makes it difficult to believe that they were unaware of Quiboloy’s whereabouts. I call on the appropriate authorities to investigate these ties thoroughly,” saad ng kongresista.

“If the Duterte family played any role in protecting or enabling Quiboloy during his time as a fugitive, they must be held accountable, just like any other citizen,” wika pa nito.

Iginiit ni Chua na “No one is above the law—not even those who once held the highest positions of power in our country.”

RPPt Sa pagkakaaresto kay Quiboloy, House leaders nanawagan para sa mabilis na pagkamit ng katarungan para sa mga biktima

Pinuri ng mga lider ng Kamara ang Philippine National Police (PNP) at Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) para sa pagkaka-aresto sa puganteng religious leader na si Apollo Quiboloy sa loob ng compound ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) noong Linggo.

Panawagan ng mga mambabatas ang mabilis at masusing paglilitis at tiyaking makakamit ng kaniyang mga biktima ang katarungan, kabilang na ang mga biktima ng child abuse at human trafficking.  

Si Quiboloy na sumuko sa ISAFP, ay dumating sa Villamor Air Base noong Linggo mula Davao City ay agad na inilipat sa PNP Custodial Facility sa Camp Crame sa Quezon City.

Muli ring kinondena ni Manila 6th District Rep. Bienvenido “Benny”

Abante Jr., chairman ng Committee on Human Rights, ang mga umano’y akusasyon laban kay Quiboloy na tinawag niyang “mga gawa ng kasamaan” at binigyang-diin ang pangangailangan sa agarang paglilitis upang makamit ng mga biktima ang hustisya.

“Let this be clear: Apollo Quiboloy’s arrest is not just a win for law enforcement, it’s a resounding victory for justice and human dignity,” ayon kay Abante. “The crimes he is accused of—child abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking—are monstrous, and no amount of power or influence can shield him from the full force of the law. The time for reckoning has come.”

Ayon kay Santa Rosa City Rep. Dan Fernandez, chair ng Committee on Public Order and Safety, ang pag-aresto kay Quiboloy ay isang mahalagang hakbang sa laban laban sa human trafficking at ang pangangailangan na agad na maghatid ng katarungan.

“Pastor Quiboloy’s capture marks a turning point in our battle against human trafficking and exploitation. His influence cannot overshadow the gravity of his alleged crimes,” ayon kay Fernandez. 

Dagdag pa nito: “The victims have suffered long enough. We demand a thorough investigation and prosecution to ensure he faces the full consequences of his actions. There is no place for predators like Pastor Quiboloy.”

Binibigyang-diin naman ni Surigao del Norte 2nd District Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, chair ng Committee on Dangerous Drugs, na ang mga kaso laban kay Quiboloy ay hindi lamang tungkol sa isang indibidwal, kundi tungkol sa pagwasak ng malalim ng mga sistema ng pang-aabuso.

“This isn’t just about holding Pastor Quiboloy accountable; it’s about sending a clear message that no one—regardless of power or self-proclaimed status—is above the law. This case must set a precedent that those who exploit and abuse the most vulnerable will face the harshest penalties,” ayon kay Barbers.

Pinuri rin ni Antipolo City 2nd District Rep. Romeo Acop, chair ng Committee on Transportation, ang pag-aresto kay Quiboloy bilang isang "malaking tagumpay" sa laban kontra human trafficking at pang-aabuso sa mga bata.

“Quiboloy’s alleged actions have victimized some of the most vulnerable members of society. It’s crucial he be held fully accountable for these crimes. We commend our law enforcement agencies for their vigilance and urge the courts to expedite the trial to deliver justice,” ayon kay Acop, na isang retiradong police general.

Nakikiisa rin si Abang Lingkod Rep. Joseph Stephen “Caraps” Paduano, chair ng Committee on Public Accounts, mabilis na aksyon ng mga tagapagpatupad ng batas. Binibigyang-diin niya ang pangangailangan na protektahan ang mga karapatang pantao at ang mga mahihinang indibidwal mula sa pagsasamantala.

“We welcome this significant development in bringing to justice an individual who has evaded accountability for far too long,” ayon kay Paduano. “The charges Apollo Quiboloy is facing are grave—child abuse and human trafficking are heinous crimes that violate the dignity and rights of individuals, especially minors. We must ensure that no one, regardless of their influence or position, is above the law.”

Si Quiboloy, ang self-proclaimed “Son of God” at pinuno ng the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, ay naaresto noong Linggo matapos ang ilang linggong search operation sa kaniyang compound sa Davao City. 

Kabilang sa mga kasong kinakaharap ni Quiboloy ang paglabag sa Republic Act (RA) 7610, o ang Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act, at RA 9208, para sa qualified human trafficking, na may mga arrest warrant na inilabas ng mga korte sa mga lungsod ng Davao at Pasig.

Si Quiboloy ay matagal nang nahaharap sa alegasyon ng pananamantala ng mga kababaihan at menor de edad, bilang bahagi ng kanyang mga relihiyosong gawain.

Taong 2021, inakusahan rin si Quiboloy ng U.S. Justice Department ng sex-trafficking sa mga batang babae at kababaihan, edad 12 hanggang 25, na umano’y pinilit sa sekswal na relasyon habang sila ay nagsisilbi bilang “pastorals.” (END)

RPPt ‘Davao Mafia’ buwagin, Quiboloy arestuhin— Manila solon

Nanawagan ang isang kongresista sa gobyerno na buwagin ang tinawag nitong “Davao Mafia” at agad na arestuhin ang puganteng si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy na wanted sa human trafficking, child abuse at iba pang kaso.

Sinabi ni Manila Rep. Rolando Valeriano, chairman ng Metro Manila Development committee ng Kamara de Representantes na dapat mabuwag ang mala-mafia na sistema ng gobyerno kasabwat ang mga pribadong tanggapan sa Davao City na pumayag na makapagtayo si Quiboloy ng underground facility.

“Those underground facilities could not have been built without the acts of commission and omission of government offices, private entities, and individuals,” sabi ng kinatawan ng ikalawang distrito ng Maynila.

Sinabi ni Valeriano na dapat magkaroon ng “general cleaning” upang malinis ang sistematikong korapsyon na nagbigay daan sa pag-unlad ni Quiboloy.

“There should be a thorough inventory of guns, ammunition, explosives, and dangerous chemicals in the possession of individuals in Davao City. Any and all illegal POGOs and fake BPOs in Davao City must be raided and dismantled,” sabi pa ni Valeriano.

Ayon kay Valeriano ang direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na i-ban ang POGO ay dapat na ipatupad sa Metro Davao.

“The National Telecommunications Commission must conduct a regulatory audit of all entities with broadcasting and internet services franchises in Davao,” sabi pa nito.  

“NTC must make sure none of those franchises are being used for purposes that are illegal and contrary to their franchises from Congress,” giit pa ni Valeriano. (END)

Nanawagan si House Assistant Minority Leader at Gabriela Women’s Party Representative Arlene Brosas kay Pastor Apollo Quiboloy na sumuko na at huwag gamiting human shield ang mga taga-sunod ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).

Sinabi ni Brosas na matitigil ang pagiging “battleground” ng KOJC compound sa Davao City kung susuko na si Quiboloy at haharapin ang mga kasong kriminal na isinampa sa kanya.

"Quiboloy needs to stop playing God and face the charges against him. Itigil na niya ang drama niya at sumuko na lang siya," giit ni Rep. Brosas. 

"Huwag niyang gamitin human shield ang mga taga-suporta niya. The victims of his alleged crimes deserve justice, and he must submits himself to the legal process," dagdag pa ng kinakatawan ng Gabriela.

Ang self-styled "Son of God” ay nahaharap sa mga kasong child abuse, sexual abuse at human trafficking.

"The exploitation of women and children is a grave violation of human rights that must be swiftly addressed," saad pa ni Rep. Brosas.

"We stand with the victims of Quiboloy. Every day that passes without this criminal being apprehended is another day the victims are denied justice,” wika pa nito.

Binuksan naman ng Gabriela Women's Party ang pintuan nito para sa iba pang biktima ni Quiboloy at tiniyak na ipagpapatuloy ang pagsusulong ng kampanya laban sa pang-aabuso sa mga kababaihan at bata. (END)

RPPt Gonzales kina Alice Guo, Cassandra Ong: Isiwalat nalalaman sa ilegal na POGO operations

Sabihin ang totoo at ilahad ang lahat ng kanilang nalalaman sa ilegal na operasyon ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) para sa kapakanan ng bansa.

Ito ang panawagan ni Senior Deputy Speaker at Pampanga 3rd District Rep. Aurelio "Dong" Gonzales, Jr. kina dating Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo at Katherine Cassandra Li Ong, na kapwa iniuugnay sa ilegal na operasyon ng POGO hubs sa Bamban, Tarlac at Porac, Pampanga.

“Alice Guo and Cassandra Ong are claiming they are Filipinos. If this is true, they owe it to our country to speak up and reveal all they know about these underground POGOs that flourished during the past administration,” ayon kay Gonzales. 

“Tayong mga Filipino, mahal natin ang ating bansa. Kung mga Filipino sila, dapat mahal din nila ang ating bayan,” saad pa nito. 

Ang dating alkalde ng Bamban na si Guo ay nahaharap sa pating-patong na kaso kaugnay ng mga aktibidad ng POGO sa kanyang bayan, ay inaresto ng mga awtoridad sa Indonesia, kung saan siya nagtago, at ibinalik sa Maynila noong Biyernes.

Si Guo ay inaasahang haharap sa Senado sa susunod na linggo upang sagutin ang mga alegasyon tungkol sa POGO hub sa Bamban.

Habang si Ong, na nakadetine sa Kamara ay una ng ginisa ng House Quad Committee— na nagsisiyasat sa mga ilegal na POGO operations, kalakalan ng ilegal na droga, at extrajudicial killings (EJKs) na naganap sa madugong war on drugs ng nakaraang administrasyon.

Sa pagdinig ng joint panel noong Miyerkules, isinugod sa hospital si Ong dulot ng unstable blood pressure level habang inuusisa ng mga mambabatas sa Kamara.

Ayon kay Gonzales, maaaring nakaranas ng matinding pressure si Ong mula sa mga tao o grupo na nasa likod ng ilegal na POGO.

“A person who is telling the truth is usually relieved of pressure, stress and anxiety. The truth sets him or her free. This was not obviously the case with Miss Ong. She must be keeping a lot of things from us,” ayon pa sa kaniya. 

“Bakit magiging unstable ang blood pressure mo kung ikaw ay nagsasabi ng totoo?” Tanong pa ng kongresista. 

Sa pagdinig noong Miyerkules, sinabi ni Ong na mayroon siyang 58 porsyentong bahagi sa korporasyong nagmamay-ari ng malawak na lupa sa Porac, kung saan itinayo ang 46 na gusali, isang mansyon, at iba pang istruktura ng POGO operator na tinukoy bilang Lucky South 99.

Bagama’t inaming siya ay nakipag-ugnayan sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) bilang kinatawan ng Lucky South 99, patuloy na itinatanggi ni Ong ang pagkakasangkot sa operasyon ng POGO.

Ayon sa PAGCOR, isa lang ang gusaling binigyan nila ng lisensya bilang POGO sa Porac hub at hindi na nila ni-renew ang lisensya nito.

Dismayado si Gonzales dahil naapektuhan ang reputasyon ng Pampanga dahil sa ilegal na operasyon ng POGO sa Porac, kung saan nasamsam din ang P3.6 bilyong halaga ng shabu sa isang warehouse sa Mexico noong Setyembre 2023, at ang pagkakatuklas ng P1.3 bilyong halaga ng ilegal na droga sa isang abandunadong sasakyan sa Mabalacat City noong Agosto ng taong iyon.

“Kawawa ang probinsiya namin, a progressive growth area in Central Luzon. We should be able to recover from this mess but we should know what really happened with the cooperation of vital witnesses like Miss Ong,” saad pa nito.

Sa pagdinig noong Miyerkules, hinimok ni Gonzales si Ong na isiwalat ang katotohanan subalit naging maingat ito sa kanyang pagsagot at hindi nagbibigay ng detalyadong impormasyon.

Si Gonzales ang pangunahing tagapagtaguyod ng pinagsamang imbestigasyon ng apat na komite tungkol sa mga POGO, ilegal na droga, at extrajudicial killings (EJKs) at ang may akda ng resolusyon upang imbestigahan House Committee on Dangerous Drugs, na pinamumunuan ni Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, ang pagkakasamsam ng P3.6 bilyong halaga ng shabu sa bayan ng Mexico. (END)
