Sa balaod nan mga Hudeo, adlaw nan pagpahuway sa mga trabaho matapos an sies dias na pagpahuyas, an sabbath.
Pero, sa ebanghelyo kuman, kon tan-awon nato, tag-kontra ni Hesus an balaod sa sabbath kay may taghimo pa man gihapon Sidja -- an pagtambay sa isa ka may sakit.
Para dako, an nangibabaw dinhi, an gugma nan Ginoo sa tawo kumpara sa pagkamasinundanon sa balaod na hinimo ra nan tawo.
Sanan an pagtambay sa may sakit -- isa ka ekspresyon nan pagmahal, amoy gadjod unahon kaysa sa pagpahuway -- isa ka balaod nan tawo na pagasundon.
Sa ato pa, importante an ekspresyon sanan pagpakita nan paghigugma sa isigkatawo sa tanan panahon.
Lord, itanom sa ako kasingkasing ang tinood na paghigugma sa ako isigkatawo kay amo man ini an imo gusto na ipahimo damo tanan, Amen.
The law of the Jews says that sabbath should be observed after six days of toiling in order to rest.
But in our gospel today, if we try to examine, Jesus defied the law on sabbath because He did something on that day -- He healed the sick person.
For me, the primordial concept here is that, the immense love of God to men counts than abiding the laws that are only made by persons.
And healing a sick -- an expression of love, should come first than resting on sabbath -- a law for people to abide.
So, the expression and the demonstration of love to our fellowmen should always be done at all times.
Lord, sow in my heart the true expression and demonstration of my love to my fellowmen because I know that this is what You want all of us to do, Amen.
